If you have met Jana, then you will understand. Jana is a beautiful person inside and out. She radiates natural beauty and sweetness. Our friendship started at UNCW, but it was towards the end of college that we became close. Jana's friendship is unique because no matter the distance, the friendship continues and starts back where it left off. Jana is a life-long friend.
Jana moved to Austin when I lived in San Antonio. I'll never forget taking her to Caffe Medici. A quaint cafe in Austin. There was a man inside, Michael, who was covered in saw dust and standing on a ladder. A minute later his sweet wife, Alison, walked in and took Jana and I on a tour of Austin. Jana felt an instant connection to the owners of the cafe, but I don't think she realized what God had in store for her. In time she would meet J, Michael's brother, and fall in love.
I can still picture Jana and J's wedding. J was decked out in his suit, literally jumping up and down as Jana crossed the street to marry him on the steps of Caffe Medici. It was a glorious day and the most beautiful ceremony. All who attended had cups full of lattes and love!
A year later, J and Jana were blessed with precious little Marik. J and Jana are wonderful parents and parent their sweet child with an amazing love. We can ease the burden on Jana and J by giving a gift to help with their unpaid medical bills from Marik's first months. Our goal is to raise 4,000 by April when I will run The St. Luke’s Lehigh Valley Half Marathon. Every gift is a step towards the finish line! Thank you for your support!
